Probably the center of WWW Shogi is Pieter Stouten's Shogi Page. Here you can find all the links to all the Shogi info on the Web.
The Ricoh Shogi page is definitely worth a visit. RICOH is the strongest company Shogi team in Japan and its homepage contains up-to-date professional info as well as info about amateur Shogi in Japan and even a section about the European Championships, generously sponsored by RICOH.
The Japanese Shogi Association (or better, Shogi Sekai) now also has a homepage with some nice pictures and animated gifs. It is still under construction and most of it is in Japanese, but there is an English section as well.
Are you a player living in Europe, then you will find a lot of useful information on Eric Cheymol's Shogi page. Eric is also the keeper of the European ELO-list (where you will find my name still near the top).
If you are into Tsume Shogi, be sure to have a look at the Dutch Tsume Shogi Page, where a collection of famous problems can be found.
Tsume Shogi problems can also be found at Patrick Davin's Shogi Nexus. Also a lot of professional news and games here.
If you are a beginner in this great game, Roger Hare's Shogi Page is a good starting point.
Matt Casters has started a Shogi Game Database to provide more people access to Shogi games. No need for a board and pieces here, the graphic board is great. If you can use Java freely, you can also contribute games yourself.
Finally, if you want to play a game on the Internet, go to the Java Shogi Server. Here you can play yourself or watch games that are being played.
