Salinity tolerance of wild turf grasses


We are working on analysis of salinity tolerance mechanisms of wild turf grasses and their application for salinity tolerant plant breeding


Sporobolus virginicus is tolerant to 1.5 M NaCl and maintain high K+ concentration under saline condition.
